Relapse Prevention
Holistic Recovery is inspired by the 12 step model of spiritual awakening, combining these simple steps with the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda creates a powerful tool for relapse prevention. Ayurveda and Yoga provide easily accessible, immediate tools to navigate the stresses of early recovery (90 days to 2 years). Moving meditation (asana practice), breath awareness and expansion (pranayama) cultivate impulse control, self-awareness, restful sleep, and access to your own relaxation response. |
Holistic Recovery for Long Term Recovery
Long term recovery can reveal desires for a deeper connection to the stillness within, as well as strong desires to care for our bodies in the most natural way possible. Ayurveda teaches us how to live in harmony with our internal, natural constitution and our external environment. Caring for our bodies as the house of our Spirit, reminds us that our body is our home and we have a right to live within it, with comfort and ease. Holistic recovery provides a path to reconnect (or connect) to the callings of you heart and your desire to live a fully authentic life. |
Body to Mind
Holistic Recovery uses the felt sensations of the body and the breath to re-orient your entire being towards resiliency, comfort and ease. Holistic Recovery provides the somatic awareness and intelligence required to be able to use the body as an early warning system and an assistant to the journey back to Spirit. Holistic Recovery from addiction offers long term freedom, by addressing the individual as whole, rather than the substance or behavior that they have become addicted to. |
